Located in Ruidoso New Mexico, the Annual Ruidoso Art Festival is becoming a very popular show for artists all around the country and a favorite for attendees. Set up at the Ruidoso Convention Center during the fourth weekend in July, you will meet over 100 of the nation’s most talented artists showcasing a broad spectrum of mediums including sculpture, photography, glass, paintings, ceramics, jewelry, mixed media and more! We are excited to announce that this year we have a variety of new artists participating in the show. In past shows we have had the privilege of featuring artists such as Michael Hurd, son of famed artists Peter Hurd and Henriette Wyeth and also, Gordon Snidow a world-renowned artist of Western Americana.
We’re excited to announce that starting this year we will be featuring a handful of New Mexico wineries to offer wine tastings during your visit at the Ruidoso Art Festival! With your wine tasting ticket you will receive a free wine glass and free tastings at each vendor!
Applications are available on www.Zapplication.org and must be submitted by April 7, 2018. There is a $40 nonrefundable application fee. Jurying will begin April 14, 2018 and accepted artists will be notified by April 28, 2018.
The Ruidoso Art Festival features over 100 award-winning artists displaying work in a variety of fine art mediums including:

Admission is $6 for Adults, $1 for children under 10. Two Day Passes are available for $10 Three Day Passes for $15 Military Discount $4. Tickets for wine tasting are an additional $10 and include a wine glass and free wine tastings at the participating wineries. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online in advance. First held in 1971 as an outdoor “tent” show, the Ruidoso Art Festival has evolved into an annual event which attracts thousands of art enthusiasts. Now an indoor event held at the Ruidoso Convention Center, artists arrive from around the United States to display a dazzling array of fine art. The Ruidoso Art Festival also features a Silent Auction to benefit the Chamber’s Special Project Fund which funds philanthropic endeavors in local communities.
